Halloween Wreath Paper Craft Class

This is how my Halloween wreath turned out for my Halloween paper craft class:

We had a such a great time making these wreaths...I am thinking about offering another class to make Christmas wreaths, especially for those who could not attend the Halloween class.

There is still time to order Halloween Goodies to make this wreath!

I had a huge bare space on my wall and decided to make a Halloween collage using my wreath and a craft made with my daughter that we made at home; what do you think?

Happy Halloween everyone!

Halloween Wreath Class

Next week I am offering a Halloween Wreath class.  I will be teaching how to make this fun paper wreath.  Even though it's a little early and we are still in September, I already have it hanging on the inside of my door (we get a lot of rain here!)...  I just couldn't help myself:)  What do you think?

I am really looking forward to this class and having fun with a bunch of awesome ladies.  This is my first "big project" (other than card making) and I am excited to host this class:)  Until next card club,

Leslie

Halloween Bash! Stampin Up!

This was the card I designed for card club last night...late night breakfast club!  I just love love this little set.  It is so versatile.  You can use the label stamp for so many other occasions.  It coordinates with the Decorative label punch so you can use it to label and decorate goodie bags and label food for gatherings and parties.

We had such a great time last night making this fun card.  To change it up a bit, I designed it in the easel card style, which everyone seemed to really like.  And I got to use the Chevron embossing folder finally!

We also made these simple treat bags, which took only a few minutes to stamp and assemble.  I love how you can buy the goodie bag kits that include Kraft tags, twine, stickers, die-cut banners and clear bags...I used the "Eat as you dare" stamp from the Halloween Bash set & made it my own using Perfect Plum paper to match the Hershey kisses and embossing it with black embossing powder.

I used the Beware stamp and embossed it and cut out the bat!  It needed a little somethin' somethin' at the top!

Here are the products I used:

My first stamping post! Blooming with Kindness and Crumb Cake

Doesn't the title make you a little hungry?  I made this card for my very first card club.  I think the card turned out well for my first class. I used the 'Blooming with Kindness' stamp set and crumb cake ink and paper along with very vanilla paper.  I really like the versatility of this set...you can easily swap out the sentiment for a thinking of you card, a sympathy card or get well soon.  I also played around with it and used different color combos adding Crisp Cantaloupe, part of the 2013-2015 In-Color collection, to give my friends options at my card club.

I placed dimensionals under the flag to make it stand out and also under the layered card stock with the flower.

I used a square punch to "flag" the ends of the sentiment.

These are the products I used to make these cards:

Stamp set Blooming with Kindness 126422 clear, 126420 wood

Paper: Very Vanilla 101650, Crumb Cake 120953
And/or Crisp Cantaloupe 131298

Ink: Crumb Cake 126975
Crisp Cantaloupe Option 131176

Bling it out:  Basic Pearls 119247
Dazzling Diamonds 102023
2 way glue pen 100425
Stampin' Dimensionals 104430

Cool Tools: Big Shot (My newest gadget that I LOVE!) 113439
Square Lattice Embossing Folder 119976
or Dots Embossing Folder 117335
Square Punch 119877

I used block E item #118484 to stamp the flower.
(you will need a clear block for your clear stamp set if you don't have one already.  I recommend the Stampin' Up Bundle & Save, containing block sizes C, D and H - item #129851.  You save 15% when you order the bundle!)
